Holger Lettmann has extensive work experience in product development and engineering management. Holger began their career as a Product Development Engineer at KOSTAL Group in 1994 and held various roles within the company, including Program Manager and Engineering Supervisor. In these positions, they managed the development of complex mechatronic interior products for automotive companies such as Chrysler, Ford, and GM. Holger then became the Vice President of Engineering for KOSTAL North America, where they led a team of 90 engineers in two locations and oversaw the development of mechanics, hardware, software, and prototype builds. Holger also worked as the Director of Engineering at Behr-Hella Thermocontrol, Inc., where they were responsible for product development and project management. Most recently, they served as the President & CEO of KOSTAL Kontakt Systeme, Inc., where they managed a sales and engineering center with 200 employees and $70M in revenue. Currently, Holger Lettmann is the Director of New Product Development at PennEngineering®.
Holger Lettmann began their education in 1985 when they completed an apprenticeship for Journeyman as Tool & Die Maker at Schade GmbH&CoKG, Plettenberg / Trade School Werdohl, Germany. Holger then pursued an advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Applied Science Iserlohn, Germany from 1990 to 1994, specializing in Plastics and Polymer Engineering Technology. Later, from 1998 to 2001, they attended the University of Applied Science in Hagen, Germany, where they obtained an advanced degree in Engineering and Business Management, known as Diplom-Wirtschafts-Ingenieur (FH).
