Jeff Marcus has a comprehensive work experience in the field of system programming. Jeff began their career at IBM in 1983 as a Senior Associate Programmer, where they designed and implemented MVS operating system code and JES3 code. Jeff also developed tools to enhance software development productivity. Following this, Jeff worked at PECO Energy Company as an MVS Systems Software Analyst, installing and customizing IBM software products. At EDS, they held the position of Senior Network System Programmer, installing and customizing various software products. Jeff then moved on to Strawbridge and Clothier as an MVS Systems Programmer, responsible for migrating to MVS/JES2 4.3 from 3.1. Jeff continued their career at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as a Systems Programmer, maintaining and customizing the Heat problem management system and writing SQL triggers. Afterwards, they joined Fidelity National Information Services as a System Programmer II, providing support for the GT.M financial database. Currently, Jeff is employed at Penn Mutual as the Lead MVS System Programmer.

Jeff Marcus earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University, where they attended from 1978 to 1983. Jeff later pursued a Master's in Information Technology at LaSalle University, completing the program from 1996 to 1999.
