Mark Berner

Mark Berner is an experienced web developer with a strong background in software engineering. Currently employed at Penn Mutual since September 2018, Mark was instrumental in launching a new public site within two months, modernizing the company's digital presence and utilizing React. Prior to this role, Mark served as a Senior Engineer at Comcast from May 2016 to September 2018, where responsibilities included leading the development of key features for the xFi application and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure user-centered design and functionality. Mark's career began at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, working as a Computer Scientist from June 1999 to May 2016, where achievements included designing and supporting a critical web application for tracking submarine maintenance and automating scheduling processes, resulting in significant operational cost reductions. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, earned between 1997 and 2001.
