Amy Lorek is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in education, leadership development, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Assistant Director for Engagement & Learning at Penn State's Center for Healthy Aging, Amy fosters partnerships to translate research into practical applications for everyday life. As the Director of the Health and Human Development Leadership Initiative and the Women's Leadership Initiative, Amy promotes the development of emerging leaders through targeted curriculum and experiential learning. Additional roles include Learning Designer at HWH Learning Solutions and Consulting LLC, Instructor at Penn State University, and former Director of Learning & Development at FaceAge. With a PhD in Leisure Behavior from Indiana University Bloomington and other degrees in history and criminal justice, Amy combines academic expertise with a commitment to personal and community growth.
