Cong

Cong Ma is currently a Doctoral Student at the University of Waterloo since August 2022 and has served as a Research Assistant at Penn State University since January 2021, focusing on compilers, databases, and distributed systems. Previously, Cong was a Teaching Assistant, recognized for outstanding performance in Spring 2021, and worked as a Consultant for DoorDash from September 2021 to March 2023. Before that, Cong held the position of Software Engineer II at Uber ATG from August 2017 to May 2020, engaging in software development. Additionally, a summer role as a Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University in 2016 involved writing Python and JavaScript for user-friendly web applications. Cong holds a Master’s degree from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University. Early education was completed at Hangzhou Foreign Language School from 2008 to 2014.
