Acting Associate Vice Provost, Student Engagement

Dawn Coder, Ed.D., currently serves as Assistant Vice Provost at Penn State University, leading a team of 65 professionals to enhance student success while managing departmental budgets and administration. Previously, as Senior Director, Coder oversaw the Office of Online Student Success, directing various departments and implementing innovative projects with a budget exceeding $4 million. With a robust background in academic advising and learner success, Coder has advanced through multiple leadership roles at Penn State, including Director and Associate Director. Coder also has experience as a speaker on topics related to academic advising and telecommuting within higher education. Coder holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University and has earned both a Master’s in Adult Education and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Penn State University.
