Jisu (Jason) Park is a Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University since August 2020, collaborating with Dr. Sarah Damaske on research related to occupational inequalities affecting women and sexual minorities. Prior experience includes serving as a University Graduate Fellow at the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology and as a Visiting Research Assistant in both the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology and the Republic of Korea Army, where Jisu contributed as a Sergeant and Squad Leader in the Maintenance Battalion of the 11th Maneuver Division. Jisu's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Sociology and Demography (expected 2026) and an M.A. in Sociology and Demography from Penn State University, as well as a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Economics from Lawrence University, completed in 2016.
