John Robusto

John Robusto currently serves as the Director of Strategic Initiatives at Penn State University, a position held since 2019. Prior to this role, John was the CEO and Director of Communications Security Group from February 2015 to September 2018, providing trusted mobility communications and security for law enforcement. John's extensive experience also includes serving as Division President of Secure Intelligence Systems at Ultra Electronics, focusing on secure communications and tactical data solutions. Additionally, John held significant roles within the U.S. Marine Corps and Navy, including Senior Executive Service positions, where John implemented advanced autonomous operations and addressed engineering challenges. John’s early career included pivotal roles within the Department of Defense, overseeing space reconnaissance systems and technology investments. John holds several degrees, including an AMP from Harvard Business School and a Master's Degree in Software Engineering from National University.
