Jon Nese

Teaching Professor

Jon Nese is an accomplished meteorologist with extensive experience in academia and media. Currently serving as the Associate Head for Undergraduate Programs and Teaching Professor at the Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science at Penn State University since August 2005, Jon Nese has contributed significantly to education in meteorology. Prior to this, Jon Nese worked as a Storm Analyst for The Weather Channel from 2002 to 2005 and held the position of Chief Meteorologist at The Franklin Institute from 1998 to 2002. Jon Nese also gained valuable experience as a Meteorologist at WBRE-TV from 1995 to 1998 and at WTOV-TV from 1991 to 1993. Jon Nese holds a PhD in Meteorology from Penn State University.
