Junyi Geng

Junyi Geng, Ph.D., currently serves as an Assistant Professor at Penn State University since January 2023, following a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2021 to January 2023 and a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from October 2020 to August 2021. Prior to these roles, Junyi Geng worked as a Research Assistant at Penn State University from August 2014 to September 2020 and organized a networking event for Penn State AeroWomen in 2018. Junyi Geng gained early experience as a Volunteer at the 2nd Asian Youth Games in 2013 and completed a Structural Engineer Internship with Beijing Jin Peng Da Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. in early 2013. Junyi Geng obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering, as well as a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering, from Penn State University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
