Meng Wang, PhD, PE, is an Assistant Professor at Penn State University since September 2018, specializing in synergistic water-energy systems with a focus on nutrient and energy recovery from anaerobic wastewater treatment, anaerobic digestion, and algae-based treatment methods. Prior to this role, Meng Wang served as a Postdoc Researcher at the University of South Florida from May 2013 to August 2018, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 2008 to March 2013, conducting research on various aspects of anaerobic digestion and wastewater treatment.
