Ruth Yoder

Ruth Yoder is a seasoned psychiatric nurse practitioner currently employed at Penn State University since September 2022, while also serving as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner at SunPointe Health since December 2014. Ruth has extensive experience, having worked as a certified school nurse for the Mifflin County School District from September 1990 to January 2016, where responsibility included the coordination and implementation of the School Health Program. Additionally, Ruth has contributed to education as an adjunct instructor at Pennsylvania State University from 2008 to 2010, teaching medication updates and health teaching interventions for school nurses. Prior clinical experience includes roles at Lewistown Hospital, where responsibilities ranged from clinical instruction in critical care to management of the Cardiac Care Unit. Ruth's educational background includes an MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Pennsylvania and various nursing degrees from Penn State University.
