Stephen Piazza

Stephen Piazza is a Professor at Penn State University, where they have been involved in the Functional Biomechanics Research Group and served as the Graduate Program Professor-in-Charge from 2014 to 2019. Their academic career began in 1998 and includes various roles such as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the Department of Kinesiology, as well as courtesy positions in Mechanical Engineering and Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation. Stephen has also held editorial positions with several biomechanics journals and served as the Program Chair for the American Society of Biomechanics' 2017 Annual Meeting. They earned a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University in 1998, following a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern and Harvard University, respectively.
