Thomas Weida serves as the Medical Director of Information Technology in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at Penn State University since April 1997 and holds the title of Professor at the Penn State College of Medicine. Previously, Thomas was an Associate Professor at the same institution and served as Medical Director at Hershey Medical Center until January 2012. Thomas has been a member of the Pennsylvania Medical Society's Primary Care Board of Trustees since 2011 and was a Speaker for the Congress of Delegates at the American Academy of Family Physicians from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Thomas was a co-managing partner at Rothsville Medical Center from July 1983 to April 1997 and served as President of the Pennsylvania Academy of Family Physicians in 1992-1993. Thomas obtained an MD from Hahnemann University and a BA in Pre-Medical Science from Lehigh University.
