Jenna Wise

Jenna Wise is an experienced public safety reporter currently employed at PennLive.com since March 2020. Prior to this role, Jenna served as a digital news intern at NJ.com from June 2019 to March 2020. Jenna's extensive experience in journalism began during their time at The Slate, where roles included editor-in-chief, managing editor, news editor, assistant news editor, and staff writer, spanning from September 2015 to May 2019. Additional experience includes positions as a freelance writer for The Patriot-News, a reporting intern at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and a legislative intern at Pennsylvania Legislative Services. Jenna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies, with a minor in Political Science and Government from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania.
