John Murphy

John Murphy is an experienced professional in the construction industry, currently serving in a Preconstruction & Estimating role at Penntex Construction Company, Inc. since January 2023. With a longstanding commitment to UCP Central PA since September 1997, John holds a Life Membership on the Board of Directors and has contributed as a current H/R Committee member, as well as in several leadership positions, including past Chairman of the Board, Foundation Board, and Golf Committee. Prior to the current position, John served as Regional Vice President of Operations and Project Director at Poole Anderson Construction from February 2018 to January 2023. Earlier career experiences include roles as Project Manager at A. P. Williams, Inc. and Vice President of Estimating at Quandel Construction Group, where significant projects included developing Guaranteed Maximum Prices for Pinnacle West Shore Hospital and Commonwealth Medical College. John holds a degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus on Construction Management from Penn State University.
