Penny Lane Entertainment was established in 2020 by ITV’s former Creative Director, Lee Connolly, and Spun Gold’s Nick Bullen.  Lee and Nick had co-produced a number of projects before embarking on this project together,  including HM the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee in 2012 (ITV), the BAFTA winning HM the Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations in 2016  (ITV) and HRH The Prince of Wales 75th Birthday celebrations We Are Most Amused and Amazed in 2018 (ITV).

Since 2020, Penny Lane Entertainment has produced shows for ITV, BBC, Channel 5, Channel 4, Sky, and NBC, and are the current co-producers of The BAFTA Film Awards and The BAFTA TV Awards for the BBC.
