We’re PennyBooks, a refreshingly modern, London based accounting firm, supporting a broad range of clients from single director freelancers through to scale up VC backed businesses.

Founded in 2019 by Brendon Dallas and James Watson, both big 4 trained chartered accountants with over 20 years of finance experience working in and with SME businesses. 

PennyBooks has steadily grown to a team of 6 in London, supported by a team of 34 based in Mumbai India. In 2024, we acquired McDermott & Co, a locally based firm with a similar client base.

At PennyBooks, technology sits at the core of our offering, and we are a proud Xero platinum partner. Alongside this, we also work with other major software platforms and integrations. 

The services we provide, include bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, year-end accounts and corporation tax services to our company clients. We also support with company secretarial, EIS/SEIS, fundraising advice, R&D tax credits, budgeting and financial reporting.

For our larger clients with their own in-house finance teams, our sister company, PB Resource, provides both fulltime and part time remote based accountants and bookkeepers.

We also provide personal tax service with broad experience handling complex tax returns.
