John Tone

John Tone is an experienced professional with a robust background in mortgage servicing and management. Currently serving as Managing Director at PENNYMAC since July 2009, John oversees an operational group within default servicing, focusing on areas such as collections, loss mitigation, and litigation. Prior to this role, John held the position of Executive Vice President at PENNYMAC, managing multiple functions within the Loan Servicing Division, including compliance and audit oversight. John's career includes significant leadership roles at Bank of America as a Senior Vice President, and at Home Savings of America FSB as a Vice President and Branch Manager. In addition, John contributes to California Lutheran University as a Co-Chair and Member of the Dean’s Advisory Council, supporting various initiatives for the School of Management. John earned an MBA in Business Administration and Management from California Lutheran University between 2000 and 2003.
