Lei Chen is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in risk systems and analytics at PennyMac since August 2012, where Lei currently serves as FVP. In this role, Lei regularly delivers mortgage performance analytics to the credit risk committee and enhances cash flow models for Credit Risk Transfer securitizations. Previously, as FVP of Pricing Analytics and Strategy, Lei developed familiarity with internal systems, led the creation of a Profit & Loss reporting system, and produced timely revenue reports for senior management. Prior to PennyMac, Lei worked at Bank of America as an AVP Trading Strategist, providing financial impact analysis and developing trading strategies. Lei's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, a Master’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and a Bachelor of Science from Peking University.
