Mike Laxner

First Vice President, Credit Policy at PennyMac

Mike Laxner has a diverse work experience in the financial industry spanning over multiple companies. Mike started their career at New Century Financial in 2004, where they served as a Quality Control Manager and later became the Manager of Corporate Credit. In 2007, they joined Bank of America as a Vice President, first handling Product Management for strategic products and then transitioning to Credit and Operational Risk Management for the Representations and Warranties group. Since 2012, Mike has been working at PennyMac, starting as a Manager of Credit Quality Control and gradually progressing to roles such as Vice President of Quality Control Operations, First Vice President of Corporate Quality Control, and currently, First Vice President of Credit Policy.

Mike Laxner earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from National University in 2004. Mike then went on to complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School between 2004 and 2006.
