Alejandro Alonso's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Alejandro co-founded and served as the CIO of Kaleidos, a free software company. Alejandro also co-founded and worked as a software engineer at Penpot, an open-source design and prototyping solution. Additionally, they co-founded Taiga Agile, where they served as a product owner and software engineer. Prior to their entrepreneurial ventures, Alejandro worked as a technical analyst at Entel IT Consulting.
Alejandro Alonso started their education in 2002 at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. Alejandro completed this program in 2006. In 2008, they briefly attended the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia - U.N.E.D. for Industrial Engineering studies.
In terms of certifications, Alejandro obtained the Certified Linux Professional (CLP) certification from Novell in January 2009. In September of the same year, they earned the ITIL Foundations V3 certification. Later on, in December 2010, they became an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer. Lastly, in March 2013, they completed two certifications from 10gen, namely M101P: MongoDB for Developers and M102: MongoDB for DBAs.
