Jon Burt is an accomplished professional in sports management with extensive experience in commercial roles within the industry. Currently serving as the Head of Partnerships for the Penrith Panthers since January 2024, Jon has previously held significant positions such as Head of Commercial at Western Sydney Wanderers FC and Corporate Sales Manager for the St George Illawarra Dragons. A solid foundation in sales and partnerships was built through earlier roles at various clubs including the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Wests Tigers, and Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground Trust. Jon holds a Bachelor of Business in Sport Management from Western Sydney University and a Certificate IV in Business Administration & Marketing from the Australian Training Company.

Penrith Panthers
The Penrith Panthers are one of 16 rugby league teams within the National Rugby League (NRL) competition. Founded in 1967, the Panthers have won the premiership six times (1991, 2003, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024). The Panthers senior and junior squads, along with rugby league administration employees are based in the Panthers Rugby League Academy. The Academy is a $22 million dollar high performance training and development facility. The Academy was opened in 2017 by the Hon. Malcolm Turnbull MP, Prime Minister. The Academy consists of two full-size all-weather training fields, two gymnasiums, hot and cold plunge pools, a 61-seat team auditorium, medical rooms, a number of recreational areas for players and staff, as well as administration offices.
