Penshurst Place, an award-winning visitor attraction and wedding venue, is the home of Viscount De L’Isle. Set  in beautiful formal gardens, surrounded by ancient parkland, the house has stood on the banks of the River Medway since 1341, when it was built as a country retreat  for the then Lord Mayor of London, just ‘a day’s horse ride’ from the City.

Today, the centuries-long tradition of hospitality continues with our sole caterer Leith’s at Penshurst Place, famous for their standard of excellence in cuisine and service, complemented by fine wines from their cellar.
