David Cook

David Cook leads Penta's Financial Services Practice in Europe and Asia. Previously, they served as Managing Director at Hume Brophy, guiding international financial services and providing regulatory advice across several regions. Cook held key roles such as Executive Director for Regulatory Affairs at IHS Markit and First Secretary at the UK Representation to the EU, where they managed significant regulations impacting the financial sector. They also worked as a Policy Advisor at HM Treasury and the Department for International Development, focusing on economic reform and promoting objectives within EU institutions. Cook is currently pursuing a BA and MPhil in Ancient History and Archaeology and Classics at the University of Liverpool.
