Fred Brown

Fred Brown currently serves as Global Lean Director at nVent, a role held since May 2018, and has concurrently been in the position of Global Director Lean at Pentair since October 2016. With extensive experience in continuous improvement and operational leadership, Fred previously held key positions as Director of Continuous Improvement and General Manager at Orchid Orthopedic Solutions from 2011 to 2015, and Vice President of Operations at Zeller Corporation from 2008 to 2011. An Associate Partner at Lean Horizons Consulting from 2005 to 2008, Fred's career began at General Motors, progressing through various roles in Engineering and Operations Management from 1985 to 1998. Fred holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Union College.
