Jeff Thompson

Jeff Thompson has substantial experience in finance, currently serving as Segment CFO and Group CFO for Industrial & Flow Technologies and Industrial Solutions at Pentair since October 2019. Prior to this role, Jeff held finance management positions at MTS Systems Corporation from March 2015 to October 2019, and also at Donaldson and Nilfisk-Advance. Jeff's finance expertise began as a Financial Analyst at Nilfisk-Advance and Donaldson, with early experience gained through internships at Emerson and Nilfisk-Advance. Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. Responsibilities focus on financial reporting processes, departmental collaboration, and assessing business impacts.
