Travis Read

Travis Read is a Mechanical Engineer and Project Engineer at Pentair since February 2016, specializing in project scheduling, customer submittals, and the design and testing of commercial pool filtration components and systems. In addition, Travis serves as a Staff Engineer and Project Advisor at the University of Central Florida, where responsibilities include mentoring Senior Engineering students in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Senior Design program and grading project milestones. Previously, Travis held the position of Mechanical Engineer II at Comtech Systems, focusing on the design and development of mobile communication systems, and gained initial experience as a mechanical engineering intern at various firms. Travis holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, completed in 2011.
