Michael Tan

Michael Tan has a diverse work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on sales and leadership roles. Michael'smost recent position is as the VP of Sales, Asia Pacific & Japan at Pentera, where they are responsible for helping organizations worldwide enhance their cybersecurity. Prior to this, they served as the Regional VP of Sales - Asia Pacific & Japan at CyCognito, where they helped companies uncover and address critical security risks. Michael also worked as the Regional Director, Asia Pacific & Japan at IntSights, a Rapid7 company, where they provided intelligence-driven security solutions to organizations. Earlier in their career, they held various sales and leadership roles at companies such as Malwarebytes, Dell, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Hitachi Systems, ADTRAN INC., and Westcon. Throughout their career, Tan has demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, channel management, and building sales strategies to drive business growth.

Michael Tan completed a Diploma in electronic and computer from Ngee Ann Polytechnic from 1989 to 1993. Later, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Business Management and Marketing from Western Sydney University. In addition to their formal education, they obtained the ITIL fundamental certification from ITIL Certified in 2010.
