Mert Karaibrahimoglu has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Mert started their career as a Sales & Visual Merchandising Assistant at Marin A.S. in 1992. Mert then went on to become the Founder/Managing Partner of Bodrum Restaurant in Cambridge from 1995 to 1997. After that, they served as an Assistant Store Manager at Pizza Express PLC in Cambridge.

In 1998, Mert founded and managed Anatolia Restaurant in Cambridge, which gained recognition for its Turkish cuisine. Mert successfully operated the restaurant until 2000.

Mert then joined Sabancı Holding in Turkey as the Head of Operations for Arcadia Brands, managing a team of 450 people across 35 stores. Mert stayed in this role until 2002 when they became the Head of Operations at Starbucks Coffee Turkey. In this position, they led a team of 1,200 and was responsible for store-level profit and loss, network growth, and operational standards.

From 2008 to 2010, Mert worked as the Retail Operations Director for Best Buy in Turkey, overseeing the top line development, cost containment, and profit maximization of two stores.

Mert continued their career as the General Manager of KOMSUFIRIN from 2010 to 2012 and then as the General Manager of RED Perakendeye Deger Katma A.S. from 2012 to 2013.

Since 2013, Mert has been with Penti A.Ş., initially serving as the Vice President of Retail & E-Commerce. Mert then became the President of the Retail Group and is currently the CEO of the company.

Mert Karaibrahimoglu attended Pertevniyal High School in Istanbul, Turkey, graduating in 1991. Mert then went on to study Business Administration at Istanbul Kültür University, completing their degree in 2009.
