Hernan Niederer

Hernan Niederer's work experience includes a role as Head of EMEA Commercial and Marketing at Penumbra, Inc. since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Medtronic from 2016 to 2022, serving as a Business Director for the EMEA Diabetes Operating Unit, a Director for Business Transformation in the Europe, Middle East & Africa region, and a Sr. Regional Business Manager for the Diabetes business in the Nordics. Hernan also held positions at Novo Nordisk, where they worked from 2000 to 2015, including roles such as Marketing Director for Diabetes, Obesity & Biopharmaceuticals in Spain and Business Unit Director for Sales, Marketing, Medical and Market Access for Biopharmaceuticals. Before that, they owned and worked as an Independent Consultant at HNB Consulting from 1998 to 2001. Additionally, they worked as an International Management Consultant at a Management Consultancy in 2015.

Hernan Niederer's education history includes a Master of Science in International Business from Copenhagen Business School in Denmark, obtained from 1998 to 2000. Hernan also completed a General Management Program at Ashridge Business School in 2013 and a Strategy Execution Program at Harvard Business School in 2014, both through executive education. Hernan received their High School Diploma from Värnhemsskolan in Sweden in 1992 with a focus on Commercial subjects.
