Steve Chen

Steve Chen is the Senior Director of Product Management at Penumbra, Inc., where they lead the development of the REAL Immersive Healthcare System, an XR rehabilitation platform. With over twenty years of experience in software and hardware development, spatial computing, and UI/UX design, they have held various prominent roles including Managing Director/Creative Director at Float Hybrid Entertainment and Lead Level Designer at Double Fine Productions. Chen earned a Master of Science in Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University, showcasing a strong foundation in design and technology. Throughout their career, they have focused on creating impactful solutions across healthcare, consumer products, and entertainment.
