PEOPLE AND PLANET FOUNDATION is a newly established non-profit organization committed to comprehensive, grassroots-level development across Maharashtra state. Founded on the principle of holistic welfare, our mission spans social, educational, health, and environmental sectors, driving measurable impact and lasting societal change.

Our Dual Mission: People & Planet

We operate under 2 core strategic pillars, directly addressing the most pressing challenges facing our communities:

1. People: Societal Change & Welfare

We are dedicated to human development and social justice, focusing on empowering vulnerable populations and fostering a modern, equitable society. Key initiatives include:

Social Empowerment: Combating false beliefs, practices, and superstition through various awareness programs, street plays, and traditional arts.

Health and Wellness: Organizing General and Special health camps, running De-addiction Centres (Vyasan Mukti Kendra), and promoting awareness regarding diseases like AIDS and Hepatitis B.

2. Planet: Climate Resilience & Environmental Stewardship

We actively undertake projects in consonance with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) identified by the United Nations. Our environmental programs focus on ecological balance and community action:

Climate Action: Implementing projects in solar energy, biogas, waste-to-energy, and rainwater harvesting.

Plantation Drives: Promoting social plantation programs and working to increase water levels by planting trees on hills and mountains.

Resource Management: Engaging in waste segregation, recycling, and collaborating with local bodies for solid waste management projects.

Our Structure and Reach

The Foundation is registered in Ahilynagar and is governed by an Executive Board with a five-year term. We are committed to transparency and serving the common public without bias, with an operational field that spans all over Maharashtra.
