Tom Smith

Tom Smith is the current President & Chief Operating Officer at PeopleSuite. Prior to this, they were the Chief Supplier Officer, North America at Daymon from May 2009 to October 2017. In this role, they oversaw sales, revenue growth, sales strategy, resource allocation, and execution for key clients across North America. From October 2017 to October 2019, Tom was the owner of Flip It Investors, LLC, where they bought, rehabbed and sold real estate in San Antonio TX and beyond. Tom has also served as the President of Retail-iQ Talent Solutions from January 2007 to December 2009, conducting C-suite search assignments for marketing, operations, real estate, purchasing, merchandising, brand & product development, construction, facilities management, manufacturing, human resources, accounting, category management, and quality assurance. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Corporate Brands at Ahold USA from January 1995 to December 2005.

Tom Smith's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, where they majored in Hotel Administration. Tom also has an MBA from Babson College with a concentration in Strategic Planning and Management in Retailing. In addition, they have completed the Center for Creative Leadership's (CL) Advance Program and the Retail Leadership program at Cornell University. Tom is also a graduate of the Leadership for The New Millennium program at Babson College. Finally, they have completed Navy Seals Procurement Negotiations training and the Conceptual Selling, Strategic Selling & Large Account Management program at MILLER HEIMAN.

Tom Smith reports to David Preston, Co-Founder & CEO. They work with Elaine Erickson - Managing Partner, Hayes Reilly - Managing Partner.
