Stefanie Smith

Stefanie Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Stefanie currently holds the position of Multi-Domain C2 Cyber Lead at PeopleTec, Inc. since 2023. Prior to this, Stefanie worked as a Consultant at CyberProtex, LLC from 2017 to 2019. Stefanie also served as a Principal Research Scientist at The University of Alabama in Huntsville for a short-term NSA grant project in 2017, where they developed Cyber Security curriculum and lab exercises targeting SCADA systems. Stefanie's earlier work experience includes a role as a Cyber Security Engineer at PeopleTec from 2009 to 2017. Additionally, they served as the Young Professionals Liasion at ASIS-North Alabama Chapter #18 from 2011 to 2013.

Stefanie Smith completed their education with a Master of Science in Cyber Security from The University of Alabama in Huntsville in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and International Trade from the same institution between 2004 and 2006. In 2011, Stefanie pursued a Master of Science degree in Information Assurance & Security, also from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. Stefanie has additional certifications as a Certified Ethical Hacker from EC-Council and Security+ from CompTIA, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
