Stephen O'Connor

Stephen O'Connor is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and company secretarial services. Currently serving as a Senior Legal Advisor at Pepkor Retail Limited since February 2019 and as a Legal Advisor at Pepkor Holdings Limited, Stephen has developed a robust expertise in legal matters within the retail sector. Prior to these roles, Stephen was the Group Legal Advisor and Company Secretary at Iliad Africa Limited from April 2011 to February 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing legal and company secretarial affairs as well as risk and ethics management. Stephen's career also includes a position as Group Legal Advisor and Company Secretary at Advtech Limited from March 2003 to March 2011. An alumnus of Rhodes University, Stephen earned a Master’s Degree in Law between 1984 and 1988.
