Jongsun Kim

Jongsun Kim has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jongsun most recently worked at Pepper Financial Services Group as Head of Marketing & Communication, where they played a key role in transforming the company into a top 5 savings bank. Jongsun initiated various marketing and sponsorship efforts, including the establishment of a professional volleyball team for sports marketing. During their time there, they also led TV commercial advertisements and developed a product concept for green financing, earning the company multiple ESG awards. Prior to this, they worked at Standard Chartered Korea as General Manager of the Strategy Team and as a Business Planning Manager/Relationship Manager for Financial Institutions. Jongsun also gained experience at Kookmin Bank as a Researcher in the Economic Research Center, a Product Manager in the Private Banking and Mutual Fund Teams, and as a Marketing Manager. Additionally, Jongsun Kim served in the US 8th Army as a Senior Sergeant.

Jongsun Kim completed an MBA in Finance at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2006 to 2008. Before that, they obtained a Master of Arts in European Area Studies from Korea University's Graduate School of International Studies between 1998 and 1999.
