David Bottoms

David Bottoms has a long and varied career in the finance industry. David began their career at Nortel in 1981 as the Director of Finance, where they held multiple management roles covering every facet of finance, serving as division CFO and interim president, and leading the company's planning process. In 1995, they joined Sprint Nextel as the Vice President of Sales, managing the third party national retailers and dealers who sold over 6 million devices a year representing 35% of Sprint's distribution. David also served as the Vice President of Business Development, launching Sprint's wireless wholesale business and negotiating over two dozen wireless wholesale deals, as well as the Vice President of Finance, in charge of budgeting and forecasting for the $15B wireless business. In 2010, they joined Cricket Communications as the Vice President of Strategy and Business Development, leading all relationship and business development efforts with Sprint, Leap's largest network partner, and responsible for contract negotiations regarding Leap's wholesale and roaming agreements. David also served as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development, managing the emerging third party national retail distribution channel. In 2013, they co-founded Pepper IoT, a start-up in Kansas City that focuses on the Internet of Things revolution, and served as the Chief Financial Officer, heading up operations, business development and finance.

David Bottoms holds an MBA from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business, where they studied Business Administration, as well as a BA from North Carolina State University, where they studied Accounting.
