Konrad Kern is the Head of the Innovation Unit in Industrial Communication at Pepperl+Fuchs. With extensive experience in product management, they worked at Cerberus AG from 1991 to 1998 and continued at Pepperl+Fuchs from 1998 to 2017 as a product manager overseeing RFID and connectivity systems. From 2017 to 2024, they served as the Head of Strategic Product Management before assuming their current role. Konrad obtained a Ph.D. in Physics from the Max-Planck-Institut für FKF in Stuttgart and holds a Diplom-Physiker degree from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg.
