Ingeborg Neumann has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Ingeborg is currently serving as the Vice Chairwoman of Kulturkreis der deutschen Wirtschaft im BDI e. V. In 1997, they founded and served as the CEO of Peppermint Group, a company that develops innovative textiles for various sectors. Ingeborg has also held the position of President of the Confederation of the German Textile and Fashion industry and Vice President and Treasurer of BDI - Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie e.V. Additionally, Ingeborg Neumann has been a member of the supervisory boards of FUCHS Group, SGL Carbon, and Berliner Wasserbetriebe. Ingeborg founded and was the majority shareholder of Schröder & Partner Management KG. Their career began as a Certified Public Accountant at Arthur Andersen in 1982. In 2019, they became a member of the board of trustees of Freunde der Nationalgalerie e.V. Overall, Ingeborg Neumann has had a successful career with a focus on the textile and fashion industry, as well as involvement in various advisory and supervisory roles.
Ingeborg Neumann pursued a Diploma in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Prior to that, they completed a Preliminary diploma at the University of Münster.
