Sam Dammers

Sam Dammers is currently the Head of Platform Engineering at Pepperstone, overseeing the Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, and Platform services functions while providing strategic direction and technical leadership in these areas. Previously, Sam served as the Cloud Engineering Team Lead at Pepperstone, managing Cloud Engineering and Site Reliability Engineering. Prior experience includes a role as Lead Software Engineer at Versent, where involvement included leading the Identity engineering team for Stax, and extensive contributions to Cloud Management and CI/CD processes. Earlier positions at National Australia Bank involved designing and implementing APIs and migrating the API platform. Sam began professional development at iiNet and Westnet in customer service roles. Sam holds a Bachelor of Computer Science in Software Engineering and Computer Security from Edith Cowan University.
