Alejandro Ubico has extensive experience in quality assurance and IT service management, beginning as a Quality Assurance Coordinator at Cementos Progreso from July 2007 to June 2010. Alejandro then joined PepsiCo, serving in multiple roles from July 2010 to June 2012, including Service and Process Continuous Improvement Coordinator, where certification as an ITIL professional was achieved, and Information Technology Business Relationship Manager, focusing on aligning business needs with IT solutions. Alejandro also held the position of IT Lead for Central America & Caribbean, ensuring the delivery of IT services, and later became the PMO & IT Capabilities Manager, where responsibility included establishing a Project Management Office and overseeing project management practices. Alejandro holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes and a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from Universidad del Valle de Guatemala.
