Chris Cheng

Chris Cheng, PhD, is an Associate Principal Scientist at PepsiCo, where they focus on innovative food science, particularly in sugar reduction. Previously, Chris held positions at various leading companies, including Senior Scientist at PepsiCo, where they contributed significantly to product innovations that generated multimillion-dollar revenue. They also served as a Research Assistant at Unilever and completed internships at Kellogg Company and General Mills, gaining extensive experience in food safety and product development. Chris earned a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in Food Science from Purdue University and North Carolina State University, respectively, followed by a Ph.D. in the same field from Purdue University.
