Daniel Shaw

Daniel Shaw is a Senior Engineer in R&D Data Science and Analytics at PepsiCo, where they focus on modeling and simulation for food and beverage initiatives. An Applied Physicist with a strong background in mathematical modeling and data-driven analysis, Daniel has led projects that influence R&D, supply chain, and logistics through high-fidelity predictive models. They hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University, alongside experience as an inventor and former deep-tech startup founder. Previously, Daniel has held various roles, including Co-President of the Cornell Varsity Polo Team and internships at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories.
