Derek Herman is currently the Director of Global Ag Capabilities at PepsiCo, where they leverage extensive experience in procurement, including roles as a Global Procurement Senior Manager and Associate Manager. Previously, Derek interned in enology at both VAN RUITEN FAMILY WINERY LLC and Reynolds Family Winery. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Viticulture and Enology and a PhD in Postharvest Physiology & Biochemistry from Washington State University, where they also served as a Research Assistant.
