Jan Weststrate is the Senior Vice President of R&D for PepsiCo Asia Middle East Africa, a position held since 2011, where they lead the R&D function for the region. Prior to joining PepsiCo, Jan served as Vice President of the Research Foods Division at Unilever, overseeing a significant global research operation and managing one of their largest R&D laboratories in the Netherlands from 2004 to 2007. Jan is currently pursuing both a Master's degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nutrition Sciences at Wageningen University.
