John Behrens

John Behrens, MBS, CFS, CCS, is currently the Manager and Principal Scientist of Product Development at PepsiCo, where they lead the North American Gatorade Performance Portfolio and manage a team focused on innovation in sports hydration. Previously, they have held various positions within PepsiCo, contributing to product development and formulation while collaborating across functions to drive successful product launches. John earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Siena College and later a Master of Business and Science in Business and Food Science from Rutgers University. They have significant experience in food science and project management, with a proven record of developing products that enhance brand positioning.
