Lech Lachowicz

Lech Lachowicz is an accomplished cybersecurity leader with extensive experience across diverse organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Threat Defense at PepsiCo since August 2019, Lech has driven significant initiatives to enhance cybersecurity measures by implementing agile detection engineering and threat hunting processes. Prior roles include Senior Manager of Global Cybersecurity Engineering at PepsiCo, focusing on SOC automation, and Sales Engineering Manager at Symantec, where Lech advised major customers on security matters. Active in the cybersecurity community as a board member of ISSA Polska, Lech champions education and training through various initiatives, including the Cybeer Academy. Lech's foundational education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and a degree from The Silesian University of Technology.
