Filipa Martins has a solid background in the food industry, beginning as an Agrotechnological Research Scientist at ATO - DLO from April 2001 to April 2002. This experience was followed by a trainee position at SGS in 2002. Filipa then joined PepsiCo, where roles included Manufacturing Support - Process Expert, Central PepsiCo International Technical Services Snacks Manager, Iberia Productivity & Lean Manager, and ultimately Plant Manager from March 2006 to February 2010. As Plant Manager, responsibilities included managing a team of over 270 personnel, optimizing food site strategies for cost reduction, and ensuring operational efficiency across multiple departments, such as production, quality, and human resources. Filipa holds an engineering degree in Food Science from Universidade Técnica de Lisboa, completed in 2001.
