Sergio Perez is an accomplished engineering and project management professional with extensive experience in the food and consumer goods industries. From 2013 to 2018, Sergio served as the North America Engineering Project Director at Mondelēz International, overseeing the greenfield construction and startup of the world’s largest biscuits plant, involving a $530 million investment and the coordination of over 900 engineers and contractors. Since 2019, Sergio has been the PMF EHS Director at PepsiCo, leading the EHS and Sustainability program for PepsiCo Mexico Foods while achieving benchmark results. Prior to this, from 1995 to 2013, Sergio held various progressive roles at Procter & Gamble as Engineering Section Head for Latin America, managing a diverse range of projects across multiple regions. Educational credentials include an M.Sc. from The University of Manchester and Executive Leadership from Cornell University, complemented by a B.Sc. from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
